Hello all:
I am seeking employment teaching Philosophy in an IB program in the D.C. metro area including Northern Virginia. I have been teaching Philosophy for 6 years at the collegiate level. I earned my Masters from Georgia State in 1999.
Philosophy is an optional component of the IB curriculum; however, it compliments all other required sections. Only two IB schools in the NV-DC area offer Philosophy.
Does anyone have experience in an IB school? If anyone is interested in offering Philosophy as part of their IB program please private message me.
(I keep my real identity on-line anonymous due to issues of academic harassment.)

Re: IB Programs
Mon, March 12, 2007 - 7:11 AMI forgot to ask, if anyone is in an IB progrom that offers the Philosophy curriculum, How has it benefitted the students, the program, and the school? I have read papers on this topic published in academic journals, but they mainly involved Canadian and UK schools.
